    The reclining horse modelled with the hindquarters turned and raised slightly, the front legs tucked under the body and the head turned to one side, the well-polished stone with some minor russet inclusions

    Two similarly modelled jade horses in the same pose were sold in The Mary and George Bloch Collection, Sotheby's Hong Kong, 23 October 2005, lots 45 and 51.
