    A FINELY CARVED WHITE JADE DOUBLE-GOURD-SHAPED VESSEL AND COVER
    QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)

    The well-hollowed receptacle is carved in the form of a double-gourd with the upper section forming a cover, growing on a gnarled stem bearing two smaller gourds to the sides, detailed with tendrils and leaves, the interior hollowed, the white stone with a slight celadon tone, infused with areas of opaque inclusions
    4¾ in. (12 cm.) high, stand
