    MARK OF JEAN-BAPTISTE-CLAUDE ODIOT, PARIS, 1798-1809
    Vase-shaped and raised on three ram's mask capped hoof feet, the lower body chased and engraved with stiff leaves, the legs connected with applied scrolling foliage, flower and pine cone drop beneath, the shoulder with a band of foliage husks, the rim applied with four floral garlands within beaded and stiff leaf bands, the spout terminating in a lioness' mask, the flat cover with foliage finial, marked inside feet, near rim, on cover and inside cover, also marked with a later French tax mark
