    MARK OF J.A. BEREL, PARIS, FIRST STANDARD, 1819-38
    Campana shaped with openwork central section decorated with cut-out figures of angels supporting wreaths, anthemions, laurel wreaths and stylised sun devices centred by masks, the foliate scroll loop handles terminating in bearded and wreathed masks, raised on four griffin supports above a circular base applied with rosettes, clear glass liner, the cover with double cornucopia finial resting on a leaf calyx and engraved with monogram
