    MARK OF GEORGE BEERE, DUBLIN, CIRCA 1750
    Tapering cylindrical and on spreading foot, with foliage capped handle, overall chased with foliage and flower scrolls, heightened with shells and birds, the hinged cover with a pinecone finial, engraved on each side with a crest within a garter, marked near rim and on cover bezel
    10 in. (25.3 cm.) high
    gross weight 38 oz. (1,191 gr.)
    The crests are those of Le Poer Trench as borne by the Earls of Clancarty.
