    Triangular and on three hairy paw feet, with foliage and shell decorated border, engraved with shells and foliage scrolls centring an engraved coat-of-arms, marked underneath

    The arms are those of those of Macdonald impaling Montgomerie, for Lady Margaret Macdonald (d.1799), widow of Sir Alexander Macdonald 14th of Sleat and 7th Bt. (1711-1746), ninth daughter of Alexander, 9th Earl of Eglington (d.1729).
