This form of festive bas-relief, with a faun leading music-making bacchic youths and a sacrificial goat to the harvest feast of the wine-deity Bacchus, was popularised by the celebrated sculpture by Francois Duquesnoy (d.1643) in the Galleria Doria-Pamphili, Rome.
