    With hinged cover and base, later inscription to base, cover engraved with star-shaped cartouche; also a silver-mounted mother-of-pearl oval snuffbox, cover carved with a shepherd and his flock in pastoral setting, circa 1730; a mid-18th century silver-mounted mother-of-pearl patch box, cover carved with a duck and foliage, inside of cover with mirror; and a two-colour 9 carat thimble, Chester, 1887, with chased floral frieze
