    Oval and with lobed rim, with detachable gadrooned and beaded handle, engraved on each side with a coat-of-arms below a baron's coronet, marked inside and on handle
    15 in. (38.2 cm.) long
    55 oz. (1,728 gr.)
    The arms are those of Curzon for Nathaniel, 2nd Baron Scarsdale (1751-1837). He married firstly Sophia Susanna, third daughter of Edward, Viscount Wentworth, who died in 1782 and then Felicite, daughter of Francoise de Watines in 1798. He succeeded to the title on the death of his father in 1804.
