    Rounded rectangular, the grille pierced with a vase of flowers, 1¼ in. (3.2 cm.) long; together with another vinaigrette, Birmingham, 1830 -- 1½ in. (3.8 cm.) long; a third smaller vinaigrette by John Bettridge, Birmingham, 1830 -- 1 in. (2.5 cm.) long; an engine-turned silver scalpel case by Joseph Willmore, Birmingham, date letter indistinct -- 2½ in. (6.3 cm.) high; a Victorian silver spirally fluted cylindrical scent bottle by Sampson Mordan, London, 1882, with interior glass stopper -- 2 1/8 in. (5.4 cm.) high; and a Scottish silver box of upright oval form with pull off top, Edinburgh, 1917 -- 2 7/8 in. (7.3 cm.) high
