    Shaped oblong with a shell, foliage and palmette gadrooned border, with two reeded handles, engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked on the back
    28 in. (71 cm.) long
    146 oz. (4,532 gr.)
    The arms are those of Williamson impaling Liddell, for Sir Hedworth Williamson, 7th Bt. (1797-1861) and his wife the Hon. Elizabeth, daughter of Sir Thomas, 1st Baron Ravensworth, whom he married in 1826. He was M.P. for Durham from 1831 to 1837 and later M.P. for Sunderland from 1847 to 1852.
