    The square section stem embellished with half-length figures of saints, the lobed base with narrow pierced band of crosslets, engraved with foilate motifs and the verse Dilexit me et tradidit semetipsum peo me Gal. 2 20, the glass cross centred by the figure of Christ crucified and surrounded by cut-out foliage interspersed with green enamelled flower-heads
