A GROUP OF ATTIC AND SOUTH ITALIAN BLACK GLAZED POTTERY VESSELS
CIRCA 450-300 B.C.
Comprising a large kalyx krater, with flaring sides, Magna Graecia, 8¼ in. (21 cm.) high; an epichysis, the shoulder with impressed palmettes, 4 7/8 in. (12.5 cm.) high; a stemless kylix with similar palmette decoration; an Attic kantharos, the interior with two rouletted concentric circles, circa late 5th Century B.C.; and a skyphos, one horizontal and one vertical handle, 9 in. (22.8 cm.) across handles max. (5)
