    A GROUP OF ENGLISH AND CONTINENTAL SILVER SERVING SPOONS,**
    VARIOUS MAKERS, 19TH CENTURY,
    comprising a toddy ladle with baleen handle, engraved with a crest on the reverse of handle, circa 1735, apparently unmarked; a George III sauce ladle, monogrammed, mark for William Bateman I, London, 1814; a Scottish soup ladle, marked Edinburgh, 1856, maker's mark 'A.A.'; a Dutch silver-gilt sugar sifter with a later painted composite handle, marked Amsterdam, 1859, maker's mark 'M.C', also marked .833; and an English soup ladle in the 'Onslow' pattern with a shell-form bowl, marked indistinctly
