    A GROUP OF FOUR LATE 19TH CENTURY RUSSIAN SILVER & CHAMPLEVE ITEMS,
    VARIOUS DATES & MAKERS,
    Comprising a chalk holder of tapering form, "88" standard, maker's mark partly overstruck, circa 1890, decorated with the 4 suits of cards , the top with four quatrefoils, in red, black, white, turquoise & dark blue, 2 3/8 in. long (6 cm.), ALSO a silver-gilt & champlevé enamel egg cup, indistinct marks, possibly by Ovchinnikov, circa 1880, foliate decoration on egg-shell blue flutes, a band of medallions above centred by crosses in red, white & dark blue, ropework girdles, band of tiny red & pale blue lozenge motifs below the rim, ALSO a small salt with red, green & white foliage below an undulating turquoise band, mark of D.P (Cyrillic), "88" standard, retailed by Gratchev, St.Petersburg, circa 1890 & a cauldron salt by Pavel Ovchinnikov, "91" standard, Moscow, 1874, with band of cockerels & stylised foliage in red, white, green, dark blue & turquoise with a Cyrillic inscription on dark blue band around the top & band of red beads around the base.
