    QING DYNASTY, 19TH CENTURY

    Comprised of an archaistic rhyton of straight tapering form emerging from the mouth of a large fish at the base, carved with two wide archaistic bands either side of a small elephant-head handle and with a chilong clambering up the side of the vessel; the vase carved in high relief around the sides with lingzhi and chilong; the brushpot carved as a tree-trunk in high relief with birds perched among blossoming prunus branches emerging from rockwork beneath; and a vase in the form of an upright finger citron raised on leafy fruiting branches

    Chilong vase: 4 3/8 in. (11.1 cm.) high
    Brushpot: 5 1/8 in. (13 cm.) high
    Finger citron vase: 4 7/8 in. (12.5 cm.) high
