Kawaji Tomotsune (fl. 1675) was the third son of Kawaji Tomomichi (fl. 1650) and the third master of the Kawaji family school. His work is very rare. The omodaka leaf was used as the family crest (mon) of several great daimyo families, including the Matsudaira, Mizuno, Arima, Sakai and Mori.
