Modelled as a man's leg, wearing a green-heeled and edged white shoe with a pierced sole and heel and a white stocking, the upper-part with striped green and yellow breeches with brown foliage and puce scroll cartouches, the hinged glass cover with an indistinct portrait miniature and a woman kneeling before a flaming heart on an altar (small chip to edge of heel, minute glaze blemish to back of calf, damages to gilt-metal cover and portrait miniature)
