    English, early 19th century
    unsigned and undated, the draw-tube with sliding dust-cover for the eyepiece lens and four focal positions engraved on the tube, the body-tube raised on three scroll supports over the circular sprung stage, which is raised on three larger scroll supports over the concave substage mirror on the brass base, drawer for four objectives, in pyramid-shaped mahogany case with red serial number 208 inside the door
