of cylindrical form, painted to the body with a continuous scene of deer in a mountain landscape underneath bat and shou character bands to the neck, inscription to the base which may be read in Chinese Su yun dao ren zhi, which may be translated 'Made for the Taoist priest Su Yun' - 4¼in. (10.8cm.) high, rock crystal stopper.
