QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
Finely painted on the domed cover with a large stylized lotus blossom within bands of floral scroll and ruyi heads, the eight lobed sides of the box and cover similarly painted with leafy lotus and floral scroll, all reserved on a bright pink ground above a spreading foot encircled by a band of gilt foliate scroll, the interior enamelled in pale milky turquoise
