A nearly identical but slightly larger dish is in the collection of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, and illustrated by Jorg (Chinese Ceramics in the Collection of the Rijksmuseum, p. 210) where he notes that this characteristically muddy, early pink is found on large pieces, as "the porcelain producers were eager to show their capabilities by introducing the colour on grand objects".
