The bow shaped joined double-horn cresttrail above similarly shaped shoulders over a back support of four twisting horns flanked by similarly composed arm supports centering a D-shaped over-upholstered seat on four twisting cow-horn legs terminating in brass claw-and-glass ball feet, the front feet centering opposing twisting horn returns

Distinguished for his tripartite horn construction and brass-and-glass Tiffany castors, Wenzel Friedrich was one of the principle manufacturers of longhorn furniture in America.
