    MARK OF PUIFORCAT, PARIS, 20TH CENTURY
    The tureen shaped oval on four scroll feet with rococo joins, the body applied with oak leaves and acorns and a vacant cartouche with supporters beneath a crown, with two leaf-clad reeded handles, the spiral fluted domed cover surmounted by an artichoke finial, langoustine, lizard, mushrooms and peapods, the shaped oval stand chased with fluting and applied with bellflower garland, the tureen fitted with a silver liner, marked on cover bezel, body, liner and stand, the finial apparently unmarked
    The tureen 14¾ in. (37.5 cm.) long; the stand 19 in. (48.2 cm.) long; 231 oz. (7195 gr.) (2)
