A MATCHED SET OF FOUR GEORGE III/IV SILVER CANDLESTICKS,
MARK OF JOHN WATSON, SHEFFIELD, one pair 1815, the other matched pair 1816/20,
Fluted baluster columns with acanthus-decorated capitals, shaped circular bases with shells & scrolls, loaded bases, the four detachable nozzles matching but one 1814 & two 1816, the latter pair of nozzles apparently later overstruck with mark of Samuel Harwood, 11¼ in. high (28.5 cm.). (4)
