    HONGZHI SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN DOUBLE-CIRCLES AND OF THE PERIOD (1488-1505)

    Thinly potted with low rounded sides raised on a tapered wedge-shaped foot, covered inside and out with a rich yellow enamel, the base with a transparent glaze
    8 7/16 in. (21.4 cm.) diam.
