    A PAIR OF CARVED CELADON-GLAZED 'BAJIXIANG' BARREL-FORM STANDS
    QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
    Each is of barrel form, carved around the sides with the Bajixiang, 'Eight Buddhist Emblems' tied with ribbons amidst cloud scrolls, between bands of ruyi-heads, the top is carved with swirling clouds pierced with a coin motif in the centre, all covered with a lustrous glaze of soft celadon tone.
    7 3/8 in. (18.7 cm.) high, wood stands
