    A PAIR OF ORMOLU-MOUNTED SEVRES STYLE 'JEWELED' TURQUOISE-GROUND CANDELABRA
    LATE 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
    Each nozzle molded with beaded swags and issuing from a stiff-leaf molded support, above a baluster form vase painted with a maiden and putto emblematic of Art or Science within a white 'jewel' and gilt cartouche, the reverse with a bird and ribbon-tied bouquet, flanked by upright scroll handles with satyr-mask terminals, on a conforming socle and waisted foot cast with berried laurel and molded with a key-pattern, raised on four acanthus and toupie feet, mounted as a lamp
