    A PAIR OF TURQUOISE-GROUND FAMILLE ROSE BOWLS
    GUANGXU PERIOD (1875-1908)

    Each with deep rounded sides rising to slightly flared rims, decorated in famille rose enamels with a bird perched on a branch of wisteria beside flowering branches of roses, the flowering wisteria extending over the rim and extending into the interior, inscribed in iron-red below the mouth rim with the characters, Dayazhai, beside the Tian Di Yi Jia Chun sealmark, all on pale turquoise ground, with narrow gilt bands encircling the rim and top of the ring foot, the base bearing the iron-red Yong Qing Chang Chun mark
