    RUSSIAN, CHRIST WITH MAKER'S MARK NG IN CYRILLIC, MOSCOW, 1908-17; THE MOTHER OF GOD WITH MAKER'S MARK YeCh IN CYRILLIC, 1896-1908
    Portrayed realistically with silver-gilt oklads and cloisonné enamelled haloes, the Mother of God with crowned halo surrounded by floral decoration in traditional colours; the tripartite halo of Christ Pantokrator including a turquoise ground with filigree scroll work, each icon set in matching wooden and glazed kyots with a carved border of recurring foliate motifs and a beaded exterior rim
