    UNDERGLAZE BLUE KANGXI SIX-CHARACTER MARK WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1662-1722), INSCRIPTION DATED 1715
    Decorated on the exterior with a central scene of figures sitting at a table in a sampan, attendants serving food and wine, within a river estuary setting, divided by a lengthy inscription in kai shu of The Ode to the Red Cliff by the Song poet Su Dongpo
    15 in. (38 cm.) diam.

    The inscription is dated summer, yiwei year, and was written by master Qing Kexuan. The seals read Qing Ke and Qie Yuan
