A SANCAI-GLAZED POTTERY TRIPOD CENSER
TANG DYNASTY (AD 618-907)
The censer is of bulbous form and is raised on three paw feet. It is resist-decorated around the body with florets reserved on a green ground above a band of amber glaze which trails down to reveal the buff ware below.
7 ¾ in. (19.7 cm.) diam.
