    Each shaped circular and with gadrooned rim, engraved with a coat-of-arms, marked on the back, the backs of the twelve further engraved with a scratchweight and a number 'No 49 18"6'; 'No 50 18"3'; 'No 51 19"2'; 'No 52 17"16'; 'No 53 18"6'; 'No 54 17"13'; 'No 55 17"13'; 'No 56 18"8'; 'No 57 18"7'; 'No 58 18"2'; 'No 59 18"0' and 'No 60 18"8'

    The arms of the George III plates are those of Moore, for Edward, 6th Earl of Drogheda and later 1st Marquess of Drogheda (1730-1822). The Portuguese dinner plates are engraved to match. (18)
