    The mark of four dots found on the teapot and on the saucer could be for either Mlle. Marie Félicité Baudouin (1786-1800) or Pierre-Théodore Buteux known as Théodore (1765-1780) both of whom specialized in flower painting. Also on the teapot is the mark of either Edme-François Bouillat père (1758-1810) or his wife Genévieve-Louise Bouillat (1776-1798) both of whom specialized in flower painting and used a Y as their mark.

    Nicolas Bulidon, whose mark appears on the cup, is recorded as a flower painter 1763-1792. Jacques-François-Louis de Laroche, whose mark appears on the saucer, is recorded as a flower painter 1758-1801.
