    Probably by Britzin, St. Petersburg, circa 1890
    The domed glass body engraved with stylized leaves and surmounted by a translucent blue guilloché enamel rim, apparently unmarked; and an oval silver medallion including a photograph of Tsar Alexander III within a cobalt blue guilloché enamel rim, the other side with a photograph of Dowager Empress Maria Feodorovna

    Grand Duke Alexandrovich (1897-1981) was a member of the Imperial Family of Russia. He was the second child but first son of Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich and Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna.
