    Meiji-Taisho period (early 20th century), signed Katsuyoshi koku (carved by Katsuyoshi [Ito Katsuyoshi]) and sealed Yoshi
    The rectangular wood box mounted on the cover with a rectangular metal plaque chiseled with two boats moored in moonlight in the bay at Shinagawa, with gilt moon and gilded details on boats, the ground of shibuichi
    5½ x 4¼ x 2in. (14 x 10.7 x 5cm.)
    Wood box inscribed on underside of lid Shinagawa yukei zu, haitei: futamukashi kinzoku kinen, Taisho kinoto-u fuyu Morikazu, Ito Katsuyoshi saku, Kagawa Katsuhiro ki ("Shinagawa in the evening," presented in commemoration of twenty consecutive years of service, winter 1915, Morikazu, by Ito Katsuyoshi, inscribed by Kagawa Katsuhiro) and sealed Katsuhiro
