    Of urn form on spreading, stepped circular foot, with two leaf-capped scrolling side handles, cover with finial, one side of body engraved with inscription Pimlico Cup Handicap, 1945, Stymie, marked on base; together with silver trophy cup, Schofield Co., of urn form on circular pedestal foot, body with applied ribs, with two leaf-capped side handles, cover with conforming decoration and finial, body engraved with inscription The Riggs Handicap, 1945, Won By Stymie, marked on base; oval tray, with ribbed rim and two side handles, engraved geometric rosette pattern, center engraved with coat-of-arms and inscription, The Whitney, 1946, Won By Stymie, apparently unmarked

    In 1946 Stymie won the Whitney Stakes by two lengths, beating Mahout, Trymenow and Polynesian.
    The race for the Pimlico Cup was run at two and a half miles and Stymie won by eight lengths over Calumet Farm's, Pot o'Luck.
