    Of cylindrical form made in imitation of a bronze-mounted lacquer lian raised on three cabriole supports attached to a shallow circular dish with everted rim, the slightly domed cover cast with a four-petaled motif surmounted by a phoenix-form finial with upswept wings and tail, base with extensive red pigment, areas of encrustation
