MARK OF FREDERICK ELKINGTON, BIRMINGHAM, 1874,
Circular with bead border, on scroll-edged bracket feet, engraved with concentric bands of bead, geometric & foliate motifs, centre engraved with bull's head crest above a presentation inscription "Presented to W.J.Scofield Esq. together with a chest of plate, a clock, an album, and an address, by some of his personal friends, on the occasion of his leaving Balsall Heath near Birmingham, June 15th., 1874.", 10 in. diameter (25.5 cm.), 16 oz.
