    Modelled by Franz Kotta in low-relief with a bust-length portrait of a lady in profile to the left, wearing a high lace bonnet, against a biscuit ground within a glazed integral reeded frame, the reverse and top edge cut with a pierced aperture for suspension (stained hairline crack across neck through central section of plaque, very short crack to bonnet)

    Volkstedter Porzellan, 1760-1800, Thüringer Landesmuseum Heidecksburg, Rudolstadt, Exhibition Catalogue (1999), p. 105, cat. no. 97, where it is suggested that the sitter could be Sabine Kunigunde Friedrike Nonne (1779-1855), which is at odds with Scherf, below.
