    QING DYNASTY, 17TH/18TH CENTURY

    The hollowed vessel finely carved as a section of a tree-trunk issuing a number of twisted boughs heavily laden with prunus buds and blossom resting on the rounded sides and rim of the waterpot, the flowers well detailed with overlapping petals opening to reveal the stamen
