    Stoutly potted with shallow rounded sides supported on a shallow, tapering, wedge-shaped foot, covered overall in a blue-tinged white glaze, the unglazed base burnt to a mottled reddish-orange in the firing

    Compare a slightly larger (33.9 cm.) Xuande-marked white-glazed dish of this shape, from the collection of E.T. Chow, sold at Sotheby Parke Bernet, Hong Kong, 19 May 1981, lot 458.
