    The gilt-heightened lion passant within a shield and motto INTRO UT EXEAM
    19½ in. (49.5 cm.) high; 20½ in. (52 cm.) wide
    Together with a George III hand coloured and gilt-heightened Coat-of-Arms on paper, printed 'John Giles, Birm, Fecit' to bottom corner, the arms are those of Pershouse of Reynolds Hall and Sedgley, Co. Stafford, originally of Pershouse Hall confirmed by Sir Richard St. George (1554/5-1635), Norroy King of Arms in his visitation of Stafford in 1614, in an ebonised frame (2)
