    Cylindrical, with reeded foot, the cover with crenelated lip and reeded border, the handle with scroll thumbpiece, the body engraved with a coat-of-arms within baroque strapwork and mantling, the interior set with six pegs, the base engraved, Ter felices amplius quos innexa tenet copula a.d. Kal Mart: iii MDCCCXCV and with mirror cypher, the name Thomas Myles Sandys, May 12, 1899 engraved below, marked on cover, body and handle
