The coffee pot marked Edward & John Barnard, London, circa 1860; the teapot marked William Hunter, London, 1864; the cream and sugar marked Thomas Smily, London, 1866; the kettle marked Roberts Smith & Co.
Comprising: coffee pot, teapot, cream jug, sugar bowl and plated kettle on stand, baluster-form on four scroll feet, the bodies chased with foliage, scrolls and rocaille, with scroll handles, the pots with scroll spouts with foliate joins, the hinged covers with falcon finials, the kettle with similar decoration with fixed overhead handle, the stand on four scroll feet with lion's masks at knees, fully hallmarked, the sugar bowl cover marked Elkington.
