    Decorated to one side with the entwined Cyrillic initials 'APL' beneath the Imperial crown, supported by cherubs above two cornucopia, the other side with the Imperial coat of arms

    This beaker was possibly made to celebrate the marriage of Alexander I Pavlovich to Louise of Baden in 1793, the cherubs and cornucopia symbolising love and prosperity.
