Issued to the Swiss Army, the aluminium case painted mat grey-black, numbered TD505, the lid rising to reveal the desktop code decoder, with flap rising to display the main drum comprising ten alphabetic cursors, the typing keys with electrical indicators and other adjustments with counter, set as a typewriter, the lid containing two spare drums, electrical and other attachments and wire cleaning brush, with leather carrying handle and keys, also numbered TD505

With an associated instruction booklet, well illustrated, describing the operation of this enigma machine, dated 30 April 1947, the booklet numbered 705, market secret and with declassification stamp marked 9. Juli 1992, with a collection of photocopied documentation giving provenance, historical details and other information
