    AN INSCRIBED IMPERIAL CLOISONNE ENAMEL WALL VASE
    QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)

    The base rising to a wide shoulder, the waisted neck decorated with three gilt-bronze bow-strings, flanked on either side with a gilt-decorated leaf-shaped handle under an everted foliate-shaped mouth rim, the body inscribed with a Qianlong poem in black enamel followed by two sealmarks, all within a gilt panel reserved against a cloud-decorated lapis-blue enamel ground, the vase supported on an integral gilt-bronze stand with ruyi feet, the flat reverse side pierced with apertures for attachment
