Second half 19th Century
The rectangular top inset with a later mirrored panel within a lappet molded border, the edge with a Greek key motif, the frieze with a stylized shell to either side one side pulling out to a writing surface, and the ends with scrolling foliage panels, the on fluted supports resting on griffins and joined by a shaped stretcher inlaid with scrolling palmettes
