    finely detailed and carved of a lady seated listening to the singing and shamisen playing of two men, a delicious picnic laid out around them, including a hibachi heating the sake, the boatman at the stern, set in a wood stand carved to simulate waves and water, signed Ogawa Jyoshu on a red lacquer reserve -- 17½in. (44.5cm.) wide.
